Kim Soo-hyun reported to earn 500 M Korean won for upcoming drama 'That Night'

Korean actor Kim Soo-hyun is known as one of the top actors in South Korea. It's no surprise he's easily the one of the most bankable K-drama actors of his era.

Recent reports from various media outlets such as OSEN stated that Kim Soo-hyun might be receiving a whopping ₩500 million or around ₱20 million for his upcoming drama That Night where he is cast as the lead actor.

This paycheck rate is an anticipated to increase due to revenue from advertisements including copyright sales, product placements, and more. If the reports prove to be true, Kim Soo-hyun might become the highest paid Korean actor in the history of Korean dramas.

The news of Kim Soo-hyun's salary has become a hot topic online since it went public earlier this week. Kim Soo Hyun's agency, Gold Medalist released a statement addressing the reports, stating that “they are unable to confirm the reports regarding his salary.”

That Night got fans excited after it was revealed that it would be based on British TV series Criminal Minds.

He was also included in the list of highest paid Korean actors in 2020.

Kim Soo-hyun is known for his roles in dramas Moon Embracing the Sun (2012), My Love from the Star (2014), The Producers (2015), and It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020) and films such as The Thieves (2012) and Real (2017).

He visited the Philippines for a fanmeet in 2017.
