Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-ah in talks to star in new K-drama

By Bea Punzalan

According to reports by Korean news outlets, Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-ah are currently in talks to star in screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung's upcoming project, Our Blues.

The couple officially confirmed their relationship in 2015 and have been together since.

Their agency, AM Entertainment, confirmed the latest news and shared that the two are still discussing the offer and will only confirm once discussions have finished.

There's a catch: The two won't be cast alongside each other, if in any case they do agree.

The actress will play the romantic partner to Lee Byung-hun, while Woo-bin will take on the role opposite Han Ji-man.

Noh Hee-kyung announced the television drama back in 2019. The recent COVID-19 pandemic, however, pushed back its plans and its scheduled filming.

The team behind the drama have seriously considered filming abroad, but haven't polished out the details regarding the filming process under the new normal.

Producers have shared that the drama might just take off in the second half of 2021.

If pushed through, this will mark Kim Woo-bin's television return since his hiatus from the industry in 2017 and his last film Master in 2016. Last March, his agency announced his return to the big screen with the sci-fi film Alien.
