According to Khalil Ramos, one of Gabbi Garcia's dreams is to become part of a beauty pageant.
May pandemya man ay naging matagumpay pa rin ang pagbubukas ng Season 96 ng National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) noong June 13 na ginanap sa state-of-the-art na Studio 7 ng GMA Network.
Nagsilbing program hosts ng araw na iyon ang magkasintahan na sina Gabbi Garcia at Khalil Ramos.
Pero alam n'yo ba na first hosting gig pala iyon ni Khalil? 'Yan ang kanyang ikinuwento kina Sophia Senoron at Martin Javier nang mag-guest ito sa Rise Up Stronger: NCAA Season 96.
Naimbitahan si Khalil ng programa para mag-judge ng Mr. NCAA Season 96 pageant. Dito ay tinanong ni Martin si Khalil kung naranasan na ba nitong sumali sa isang male pageant.
“Actually, back in high school, 'di ba 'pag high school may mga mini pageants? I was invited to be part of one but I declined,” pagbabalik tanaw ni Khalil.
“Because I do perform in front of the stage as a singer pero when I start talking, that's why I mention kanina na first hosting gig ko 'yon [NCAA Season 96 opening], kasi when I start talking I have stage fright tapos talagang may knees are locked, natatakot ako, nauutal ako, tapos wala na talaga, nara-rattle ako.
“So I have no confidence or whatsoever in joining a pageant.”
Sa kabilang banda ay tinanong ni Sophia si Khalil kung may balak bang sumabak sa beauty pageant ang girlfriend nito at fellow Kapuso na si Gabbi Garcia.
“Ang alam ko [and] I don't know if she opened up about this before, but it's one of her childhood dreams talaga to be part of a pageant,” sagot ni Khalil.
Willing naman kaya si Khalil na suportahan si Gabbi kung sakaling sumali ito sa beauty pageant?
“Yeah, of course,” mabilis na sagot ni Khalil.
“Ako, I'll support her all the way.”
