South Korean actor Park Seo-joon confirmed to be part of new Marvel film

On September 3, Park Seo-joon's agency finally confirmed that the actor would be part of a new Marvel Studios film.

According to a Soompi report, Awesome ENT announced that the actor flew out of Korea to shoot a Marvel film.

The actor's agency declined to provide further details including the title of Seo-joon's movie, but it thanked the actors' fans for their support.

"We thanked the many people who have shown interest and support for Park Seo-joon as he takes on his new challenge.

"We are well aware that many people are curious about the name of the film in which he will be appearing, his character, the filming location, and his filming schedule, but we plan to reveal the details of the movie at a later date," the agency stated.

With his new project, Seo-joon will be the third Korean actor to star in a Marvel film following Claudia Kim who appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ma Dong-seok who is set to star on Eternals.

Seo-joon's fans expressed their love and excitement on Twitter.

Park Seo-joon last starred in the Korean drama Itaewon Class and made a cameo appearance in Park Bo-gum's Record of Youth. He was also tapped by Philippine telco brand SMART as one of its international endorsers.
