It's easy to assume what a social media post is all about even before reading the caption.

This prompted Kapuso comedian Michael V. to test his followers with a post.

He posted a poster of himself with a "Best Actor 2021" label.

The caption reads: "Maraming salamat sa mga fans at sa lahat ng sumuporta! Sa lahat ng magko-congratulate sa 'kin, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart."

The Pepito Manaloto actor then revealed the plot twist in his post, "Sa mga matiyaga namang magbasa ng mga nilalagay ko dito sa caption, congratulations din sa inyo! You are now part of a social experiment.

"I often believe that netizens don't really take time to read the caption, especially if it's this long. Nakakita lang ng picture na may winning text at gold colors, comment agad ng 'congratulations' kahit hindi nila alam kung saan nanalo."

"Malamang hindi rin nila napansin na mali ang spelling ng 'History.'"

"Kung binasa n'yo 'to at may nakita kayong nag-comment ng 'Congratulations' or 'Congrats,' mag-reply kayo sa kanila ng “[clapping hands emojis]”.

Several comments from showbiz friends and netizens showed who read the caption thoroughly.

"This deserves the slowest of slow claps, yung may gigil pa," Ryan Agoncillo wrote.

"Congratu….. deleteeee!!!" Valeen Montenegro joked.

One netizen added, "HAHAHA! Bwesettt dami ko ring pinalakpakan dito HAHAAH! tawa ako sa mga congratulatory messages. Anyways, napanood ko 'yung Family History, ganda ng storya."

Michael V. trended online recently after he clarified rumors of a network transfer and addressed the re-airing of long-running gag show, Pepito Manaloto.

On a lighter note, the Kapuso actor is one proud dad as he welcomed his daughter Brianna into the network who is now with GMA Artist Center.
