On September 13 at midnight (KST), Key released a schedule poster and teaser video for his upcoming solo single 'BAD LOVE,' as well as his mini album of the same title.

In the intro clip, the SHINee member is seen walking alone on a reddish and sandy landscape.

Key will be returning with his first mini album 'BAD LOVE' on September 27 which, according to a press release, contains six tracks. It will come as his first record since the 2019 repackaged album 'I Wanna Be.'

Last August 30, Key dropped his pre-release single "Hate that..." featuring Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.

Aside from releasing a mini album, Key will also have his first solo online concert titled 'GROKS IN THE KEYLAND' on September 26 via Beyond Live.

Shawols, SHINee's official fandom, expressed their excitement and support on Twitter.

Key is the third member of SHINee to debut as a solo artist after Taemin and Jonghyun. SHINee leader Onew is also set to release his second solo album later this year.
