Korean actor Kim Seon-ho is in talks to join the cast of Dog Days, a film about people finding happiness from raising pets.

Kim Seon-ho will appear in Dog Days with Oscar award-winning actress Youn Yuh-jung and Lost actress Kim Yun-jin. It will be directed by Kim Deok-min and produced by JK Film.

Kim Seon-ho is set to have a packed schedule for 2022. He is slated to make his big-screen debut with the upcoming film Sad Tropics. The film tells the story of a boy with a Korean father and a Filipina mother who dreams of becoming a boxer.

He will also take the lead role in the romance film, Two O' Clock Date, alongside Lim Yoona. It follows a romance between two apartment neighbors ― a woman with a big secret and a man who lives on the floor above her.

Kim Seon-ho debuted as a theater actor in the 2009 comedy play New Boeing Boeing. He has also portrayed supporting roles in TV shows, including Welcome to Waikiki 2 (2019), Catch the Ghost (2019) and Start-Up (2020). He gained more popularity through his current role in the romantic drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, starring alongside actress Shin Min-ah.

Upon completion of Dog Days cast, the film will start shooting either in December 2021 or January 2022.
