By Ron Lim

K-pop group Tomorrow x Together successfully held their first solo online concert yesterday, October 3, with hashtags like #TXT1stSoloConcert and #ACT_BOY shooting up the trending topics of Twitter.

Clocking in at two and a half hours, “ACT:BOY” had band members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai performing their group's hits like “Crown,” “Run Away,” “Blue Hour,” and “0x1-Lovesong.”

After opening with their debut song, “Crown,” the group immediately segued into popular B-side tracks like “Blue Orangeade,” and “Popping Star.” The group also surprised with a tropical remix of their song “Our Summer,” which was from their debut album “The Dream Chapter: Star.”

The tropical remix of “Our Summer” wasn't the only surprise the group had for fans. Remixes of “Run Away,” and “Can't You See Me” were also performed, as well as the second ever performance of fan-favorite track “Can't We Just Leave The Monster Alive?”

Tomorrow x Together also performed a number of songs for the first time during the concert. “Eternally,” “Frost,” and “Dear Sputnik” were performed for the first time ever during the concert, as well as “Sweat,” which is an unreleased track that can only be found online.

The group also debuted choreography for their song “20cm” and performed inside a huge “dog house” for their song, “Cat and Dog.”

Because of the global coronavirus pandemic, Tomorrow x Together performed to seats furnished with the fandom's light sticks. The band did express a desire to hold an offline concert and meet their fans face to face.

“'Thank you for being with us for such a long time. We are sorry we weren't able to meet in person but we are also fortunate and thankful that I could meet you through the screen. Hope the next concert is offline,” said Beomgyu during the concert's ending mentions.
