Netizens react as John Lloyd Cruz signs partnership with Kapuso network

Just as the announcement of his partnership with GMA was officially made on Tuesday, November 9, the online community has been non-stop in giving congratulatory messages to the premier matinee idol in his decision to finally join the network.

Just this July, his perennial love team partner Bea Alonzo also signed a deal with GMA. Now that they both are in the Kapuso fence, fans are expecting a reunion project for the two.

Apart from fans wishing him well, he was also greeted with warm welcome by other Kapuso stars such as Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Aiai Delas Alas, Pokwang and of course, Bea among others.

Also virtually present and among the many GMA executives who graced the contract signing was his showbiz mentor and new GMA Artist Center consultant Johnny Manahan, more famously called “Mr.M.”

After years of fruitful film and TV career, John Lloyd Cruz decided to go on a hiatus in 2017 to attend to personal matters. Apart from his work, he is also equally focused on co-parenting his son Elias Modesto with former partner Ellen Adarna who is now engaged to be married to actor Derek Ramsay.
