Squid Game actor Wi Ha-joon has been cast for another series!

According to a Soompi report, the actor's agency MSTeam Entertainment announced that Wi Ha-joon will be starring in upcoming drama K Project, previously titled Gyeongseong Creature.

"Wi Ha-joon is starring in 'K Project.' The exact details are currently being sorted out," the agency stated.

Wi Ha-joon has been cast for the role of Kwon Joon-taek, who is Jang Tae Sang's best friend. He was born in a wealthy household but feels hostility toward his pro-Japanese family.

In May, it was reported that Park Seo-joon was in talks to play the male lead Jang Tae-sang, and Han So-hee was also considering a role in K Project series.

K Project is a thriller about survival and human dignity. It tells the story of youth who put their lives in danger to achieve happiness amid a time when sovereignty and human rights are taken away. The series is written by Kang Eun-kyung and directed by Stove League director Jung Dong-yoon.

Wi Ha-joon is also in talks to join the cast of Little Women after filming K Project in January 2022.
