BLACKPINK's Jennie, Rose, and Jisoo test negative for COVID-19

The rest of the members of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK - Jennie, Rose, and Jisoo - have all tested negative for COVID-19.

The announcement comes after the idol group's agency, YG entertainment, announced on Wednesday, November 24, that member Lisa tested positive for the disease .

In a statement released on November 25 by YG Entertainment, the agency said that all members of BLACKPINK have already been vaccinated and that the company will keep watch over the members' health.

“Following their Real Time RT-PCR tests, BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Rosé, and Jennie have received negative confirmed results.

Lisa was informed of her confirmed diagnosis on November 24 ahead of plans to film video content. Lisa's health is in good state, and she did not exhibit any special symptoms.

All four members of BLACKPINK have been completely vaccinated for COVID-19, and the company and our artists have been paying special attention to our health and safety through regular pre-emptive tests.

We wish Lisa a quick recovery, and we will continue to earnestly cooperate with the health authorities' epidemiological investigations and take all possible measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”

Aside from the three other BLACKPINK members, other idols and Korean celebrities have also tested negative for COVID-19 even after close contact with people diagnosed with the disease. One such celeb is IU.

However, not everyone has been lucky. Super Junior member Shindong recently tested positive for COVID-19.

A couple of months earlier, Jungwon, Heeseung, Sunghoon, Jay, Jake, and Niki of the boy group ENHYPEN also tested positive for COVID-19 .
