Jewel Mische announces break from social media

The past weeks have been hectic for StarStruck alumna Jewel Mische.

She recently gave birth to her third child with husband Alister Kurzer, with the former actress sharing her pregnancy journey to fans by regularly posting on social media.

In her recent post, however, Jewel reveals that she's taking a temporary break from social media to devote more attention to her family.

“I'll be signing off of Instagram for a while. Will occasionally sign on with an update on life,” she wrote, accompanied by a photo of her with daughter Yzbel Quinn.

“I want to savor these days with my newborn and be as hands-free as I can be for my family and soak up moments with them.”

Jewel also wants to focus on her faith especially now that the Christmas season is here.

“I also don't want to miss Jesus this December. I want this December to revolve around Him,” she reasons.

“The reality is Christmas can often become a time of significant distraction and unnecessary busyness.

“I need to take a step back to breathe, pray, reevaluate, and tune my ears to the Lord.”

Jewel is currently based in the US together with Alister and their daughters Aislah Rose, Emerald Jade, and Yzbel Quinn.
