By Beatrice Pinlac

South Korean agency SM Entertainment unveiled their three-part blueprint for the 'SMTOWN 2022: SMCU EXPRESS,' a year-ender series of events in the SM Culture Universe.

Kickstarted through the release of a collaborative Winter album on December 27, SMTOWN 2022 will be headlined by their homegrown artists including K-pop icons BoA, TVXQ!, Super Junior, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa, and many more. Pre-orders for the album will begin today, December 10.

A media exhibition on the first floor of the entertainment giant's Seoul headquarters will also be launched on December 30, allowing the fans to experience the fictional world of Kwangya - popularly referenced in aespa and NCT's latest hits.

The final stop of the SMCU EXPRESS will land on SMTOWN LIVE 2022, a free star-studded New Year's Day concert featuring performances by the label's seasoned talents. Viewers may access the concert through multiple platforms, including YouTube, Beyond LIVE, and many more.
