Migo Adecer, Katrina Mercado tie the knot in Hong Kong
StarStruck alumnus Migo Adecer has tied the knot with his non-showbiz partner Katrina Mercado on Thursday, December 30.
The 22-year-old actor shared a clip of them in their intimate yacht reception via Instagram, writing: “Mr. & Mrs. Adecer!”
Katrina also posted a series of snaps to mark their Hong Kong wedding celebration, capturing memories from their sweet kiss as husband and wife to their traditional cake-cutting moment.
“Perfect day to get married,” she wrote.
Many Kapuso stars also sent their well wishes to the newlyweds, including Marian Rivera, Rhian Ramos, and Cassy Legaspi, among others.
Last Thursday, December 23, Katrina shared photos from her simple bridal shower with Migo, her mom, and a few close friends in attendance.
The couple announced their engagement on December 19, the evening before Migo's 22nd birthday. They have been together since 2019, actively sharing their experience as a long-distance couple on social media.
Migo rose to fame after his excellent finish as the Ultimate Male Survivor of StarStruck Season 6. Last April, he bade farewell to the Philippines to spend time with his family and finish his studies in Australia. He also thanked GMA Network and Artist Center for the opportunity to work as one of their homegrown talents.
