Philmar Alipayo and his team went to isolated areas in Siargao as part of their relief efforts for Typhoon Odette survivors.

Surfer Philmar Alipayo, husband of actress Andi Eigenmann, stays true to his advocacy to extend help to Typhoon Odette survivors in Siargao especially to those who live in the far-flung areas of the island.

Carrying food supplies on their motorcycles, Philmar and his team traversed through the mountains and areas that have not yet received government assistance.

On his Facebook post, Philmar showed his team's successful mission which gained positive responses from netizens.

When Typhoon Odette hit the Visayas and Mindanao, Siargao was among the areas that experienced total devastation. During the onslaught of the storm, Andi was in Manila with her her kids Ellie, Lilo, Koa while Philmar was left in Siargao.

At that time, the celebrity couple had been constantly updating not only each other but their followers as well on social media.

After the storm, they started a donation drive for Surigao. They even dedicated a vlog, which earnings would be donated for the rehabilitation of Siargao.

Aside from Andi ang Philmar, other celebrities also experienced the wrath of Typhoon Odette including Manilyn Reyes, Slater Young and Kryz Uy, and Tom Rodriguez.
