According to a Korea JoongAng Daily report, Key's agency SM Entertainment announced that the K-pop idol experienced mild symptoms and received a positive result through a self-test kit conducted yesterday, March 1.

"Key was feeling unwell the day before and took a test at home, which turned out positive. He immediately went to get a PCR test and received the same result Wednesday morning," the agency stated.

Due to this, Key halted all his scheduled activities and is now being treated at home.

Key, real name Kim Ki-bum, is the third member of SHINee to debut as a solo artist after Taemin and Jonghyun. He released his first mini album BAD LOVE in September 2021, and is currently a regular cast member of Korean variety shows I Live Alone and Amazing Saturday.
