Queen of All Media Kris Aquino informed her followers that she and her sons Joshua and Bimby have returned home after staying in the hospital for a series of tests. She thanked her sons for their support all throughout the process.

On Instagram, she posted a photo with her sons, posing in the middle of the two boys taken inside the hospital. She said, “Nakauwi na kami. This was our last pic before heading to our temporary, leased home. Maghihintay for my bone marrow test results. Super blessed to have the love and concern from these [two] giants, through them binigay ni God so much more than I could ever deserve.”

She capped it with the hashtags “#grateful” and “#family.”

In a previous post, Kris uploaded a video montage of her entire experience undergoing all her tests. She underwent PET/CT scan, upper endoscopy, and bone marrow aspiration for biopsy procedures last March 11. Fortunately, cancer or any sign of tumor was ruled out. However, she was diagnosed with erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer.

According to Merck Manuals, “Erosive gastritis is gastric mucosal erosion caused by damage to mucosal defenses. It is typically acute, manifesting with bleeding, but may be subacute or chronic with few or no symptoms.”

Meanwhile, according to medical website Patient, “Stomach ulcers are open sores that develop when the lining of the stomach has become damaged.”

Despite all the pains and struggles she's been enduring, Kris still feels blessed and reminds herself that her pain is only temporary.

She ended her update by thanking her supporters who continue to pray for her.

“I continue praying for the faith to continue hoping that I'll get healthy enough for those who still need and love me,” she said.

It was in 2018 when the 51-year-old actress-TV host was first diagnosed with chronic spontaneous urticaria, a common and distressing skin condition that causes red, raised and itchy, and sometimes painful hives or wheals on the skin with no known trigger.
