Kapuso artist Denise Barbacena has released a new song under GMA Playlist.

On Friday, April 29, Denise dropped her latest single "Last Thing I'd Do," along with a music video featuring Widows' Web actor Anjay Anson, where they played as a couple.

Directed by Denise and Keat Alcantara, the four-minute music video shows the actress' comedic side.

Through "Last Thing I'd Do," Denise hopes to bring warmth and love to people during these trying times. She shared, "Ang goal to offer something na people can still feel love and hope. This song, hopefully the audience, the people who will get to watch the video or listen to the song will somehow feel like that."

The song was composed by Rina Mercado and produced by Rocky Gacho. This is Denise's first comeback in the music scene and her first single since she recorded the songs "To Be Yours, I'm Destined," and "Aking Tadhana" for the original soundtrack of GMA's primetime series Destined To Be Yours in 2017.

"Last Thing I'd Do" is now available for streaming and download on digital music platforms worldwide.

Denise was first seen on television as a finalist on the first season of GMA's talent-search program, Protege: The Battle For The Big Break. Since 2013, she's been an active member of the Philippines' longest-running gag show, Bubble Gang.
