Korean actress Seo Ye-ji is back as a dangerously attractive woman named Lee Ra-el who wants revenge for her family in upcoming K-drama Eve.

TvN just released Eve's main poster, showing Seo Ye-ji standing tall and regal above the other characters. Seo Ye-ji is part of the show's star-studded cast including Park Byung-eun, Lee Sang-yeob, Yoo Sun

Lee Ra-el (Seo Ye-ji) suffers from childhood trauma after her father dies. She grows into an alluring femme fatale, determined to seek justice for the villains responsible for destroying her family.

The drama's main poster caption reads, “The more dangerous it is, the more you want that one person.”

It is Seo Ye-ji's first major role in a drama following It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020) where she starred with Kim Soo-hyun and gained international fame.

In February 2022, Seo Ye-ji made a public apology after Korean media published a report that revealed text messages between her and ex-boyfriend actor King Jung-hun, hinting that she had demanded him to get the script of his drama to be revised to remove physical contact between him and his co-star, actress and singer Seohyun. Allegations about Seo Ye-ji's past bullying and harassing schoolmates had surfaced online as well.

Her statement reads, “First, I sincerely apologise for the fact that I'm conveying my feelings so late through these written words. Seeing all of the reproach and the many things that have been said about me, I have been taking time to reflect on myself up until now. I would like to sincerely apologise for making many people uncomfortable due to my shortcomings. Once again, I sincerely bow my head and apologise for the fact that I have disappointed you greatly.”

Despite the rumors, Seo Ye-ji won Best Actress in the 57th Baeksang Awards in 2021 for her role in It's Okay to Not Be Okay.
