The cast of the much-awaited primetime sitcom Jose and Maria's Bonggang Villa were in full force as they answered the questions from the entertainment press during the grand media conference held at the Luxent Hotel in Quezon City this Thursday afternoon, May 5.

Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera were ecstatic to meet the members of the press, especially after two years of pandemic.

Also in attendance were versatile actresses Shamaine Buencamino and Pinky Amador. Joining them were Pekto, Benjie Paras, Loujude, Hershey Neri, and Sparkle Sweethearts Zonia Mejia and Jamir Zabarte.

Seasoned comedian and TV host John “Sweet” Lapus was tapped to direct the sitcom, and joined his star-studded cast in the media conference, too.

Meanwhile, veteran actor Johnny Revilla (not present during the event) is also part of this new Kapuso sitcom.

Dingdong told the members of the press what will be the key takeaways of viewers, when they watch Jose and Maria's Bonggang Villa beginning May 14.

At the same time na-entertain kayo.”

Meanwhile, multi-awarded TV idol Marian Rivera was also thrilled to fulfill the fervent wishes of their fans to see her and Dingdong together in a big project.

Kasi, kinukulit na kami and then finally nakapag-decide and of course with [the partnership] with Triple A and [APT Entertainment] na kasama sila and with Agosto Dos. Ito na talaga! Finally!” Marian said. “'Yung konsepto sa bahay nadala ng telebisyon.”

Dingdong also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to John “Sweet” Lapus and shared that he's excited that people will see a different side of him--now as a director this time around.

The Kapuso Primetime King explained, “We are just very, very proud and very happy to be under his care.

“Tapos na-amaze rin sila, so nakakatuwa na makita 'yung ganun, lalo na kami we are very-very fortunate to witness that every taping day,” said Dingdong.
