Michael Sager reveals in an interview how he feels as a rising artist in GMA Network.
Sparkada member Michael Sager admits that little by little, he is getting used to the attention he receives from the public.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, he shared how he feels as a rising artist.
“To a certain extent I am slowly getting used to being a public figure but it has been a learning curve. I remember when I was younger, hindi ako sanay na maging center ng attention so for sure may adjustment period ako right now."
Now that Michael entered the showbiz industry, the Kapuso young artist also revealed that he is now more conscious with his social media postings.
“Medyo mas heightened yung self-awareness ko since joining showbiz but I also wan to make sure I'm still being authentic to who I am. There is more to consider nowadays but I do want to present my genuine personality to the public.”
With his chinky eyes, cute dimples, lovely smile, and hot body, Michael surely knows how to make his followers and fans gush over him.
When asked about how he feels whenever he receives compliments from his fans, this is what Michael said.
“I think uncomfortable in the sense na hindi ako sanay, kasi my looks were never top of mind for me.
Of course, it's very flattering pero nahihiya pa din ako minsan. I grew up shy so I never expected this type of reception from fans. However, I am very grateful for all the kind comments that I have been receiving.”
The Sparkada member also shared how he handles his bashers.
“I do get hate comments but for the most part I just ignore them. It's different if constructive criticism to help me grow. Pero if it's purely negativity, I don't believe it's worth engaging with,” he explained.
Michael also spreads his charm in TikTok. Last June 21, he posted a video of himself doing the Hola TikTok dance challenge.
In a span of almost three weeks, his video already garnered 5.7 million views and 470,000 likes.
