Herlene Budol on using an interpreter for her next pageant: "Magta-Tagalog po talaga ako."
Herlene Nicole Budol is set to represent the Philippines at Miss Planet International 2022!
The Binibining Pilipinas 2022 first runner-up was chosen to represent the Philippines at Miss Planet International 2022 in Kampala, Uganda on November 19.
Last September 7 during her contract signing with a beauty brand, the Kapuso actress shared her plan for her next pageant competition.
According to her, she prefers to use an interpreter for the question and answer portion.
"Opo magta-Tagalog po talaga ako. 'Di nga ako nagkukunwari, totoo nga 'to," she said.
Herlene honestly admitted that she lacks fluency in using the English language.
"Hindi talaga 'ko marunong mag-English ng isang straightan. Ganito lang para ka lang nag-iipon piso-piso lang," she added.
