Gloc-9 and rock band Grayhoundz give back to fans on their 25th anniversary through a concert called 'Rock for Charity.'

Christmas is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate it than to share your blessings to those in need.

To celebrate their 25th year in the entertainment industry, Gloc-9 and rock band Grayhoundz will hold a charity concert on December 9.

Dubbed “Rock for Charity,” the event was made possible by Numinous, Asintada, and the Philippine National Police or the PNP.

“Tinap nila kami to do a charity concert dahil nagkataon din po na kami ng Greyhoundz ay nag cecelebrate ng aming 25th year sa industry,” Gloc-9 said in an online press conference.

He hopes to raise enough funds from this concert for its beneficiaries who are abandoned minors, senior citizens, and families in Pasay City. Pasay City youth homes and Pasay social development will also benefit from it proceeds.

Both Gloc-9 and Reg Rubio, vocalist of Greyhoundz, also wishes to inspire concertgoers to make any dream of theirs come true, “Hindi rin naman kami iba sa kanila before," said the former

He added, I think iba lang ng circumstances sa buhay, pero definitely yung pangarap na pwede mong gawin, pantay-pantay lang tayong lahat pag nagsimula."

Reg also noted that everyone has humble beginnings and that they wanted to show, through their concert, that it's not impossible to achieve one's dreams.

The concert will be held at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City. The concert will also feature Chocolate Factory, Mayonnaise and Lockdown Band.
