The coronation night for Miss Universe 2022 is less than a month away, and the Miss Universe Philippines Organization is calling on all Filipinos to rally behind the country's representative, Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi.

The latest post on the Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account features a short clip calling on Filipinos to download the Miss Universe app and vote for Celeste.

In the caption, the organization called on its followers to “show the universe the power of Filipinos!” and help “carve out the path toward the crown.”

Aside from competing for the Miss Universe title on January 15 in Orleans, Louisiana, Celeste is also competing to win the newly revealed “Force for Good” crown. Made by jewelry and luxury watch company Mouawad, the crown features 110 carats of blue sapphires and 48 carats of white diamonds.

According to new Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip, the new crown is valued at almost $6 million, or Php332,238,000 based on current exchange rates.

Celeste just recently flew to the United States for the final leg of her training, with the Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account sharing photos of Celeste at the airport, as well as from her official send-off party.

Before leaving for the United States, Celeste immersed herself in advocacy work, visiting communities in Lanao del Norte alongside the non-government organization Save the Children.

Celeste talked about the visit on her Instagram account, saying that it changed her perspective on the world and made her realize the importance of sharing her blessings.

Back in October, Celeste also helped repackage relief goods to “truly kickstart the holiday season” for families that were victims of a fire in Sampaloc, Manila.
