Kristoffer Martin's new single 'Di ba?' is definitely a relatable one!
Sparkle actor Kristoffer Martin just dropped a live performance of his song 'Di ba?' and it's a must-watch!
The all-new online music show Spotlight Music Sessions featured Kristoffer Martin as he performed his song "Di ba?" on Friday, January 13.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Kristoffer shared the story behind his newest track.
According to him, it was inspired by a real-life story of a guy who's hoping for a special girl to come back in his arms.
"Tinanong ko 'yung composer nung kanta eh. Sabi niya real life story daw. Akala nila cool off lang sila tapos naka-stay lang siya kung saan siya iniwan tapos hindi na siya makaalis. Yun pala nagmo-move-on na yung girl,” he explained.
Kristoffer also shared what inspired him to venture into music.
“Actually, hindi ko rin alam eh. Kasi nung bata ako, pinilit lang ako ng nanay kong sumali sa singing contest eh. As in, out of nowhere, yung kanta ko kasi pang sa'kin lang eh. In-expose ako ng nanay ko sa singing contest hanggang sa doon ka na na-discover na mahilig pala akong kumanta,” he said.
Kristoffer's career started when he joined the reality singing show 'Little Big Superstar' in 2007. Later on, he made his on-screen debut in GMA where he played young Johnny in the 2010 drama series Endless Love which was top-billed by Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
