Dina Bonnevie

While talking to the waiter holding the cake for her birthday, Dina Bonnevie can be heard saying “Hindi kita papahiran ng cake."

It's the issue that's still on everyone's lips, including veteran actress Dina Bonnevie.

In a video taken during her intimate 61st birthday bash, Dina can be heard referencing the recent cake-smearing incident involving Alex Gonzaga.

While talking to the waiter holding the cake for her birthday, Dina can be heard saying “Hindi kita papahiran ng cake. Magpapasalamat ako sa 'yo." Further on in the video, she tells another wait staff that “Cakes are to be eaten, and not to be pasted on other people's faces.”

Also in the video are Oyo Sotto, Kristine Hermosa, and Marc Pingris.

Dina is obviously referencing the cake-smearing incident that recently landed Alex Gonzaga in hot water just a week ago. The video of the Gonzaga sister smearing cake on a waiter's face incurred the wrath of the internet, with people calling her “bastos” and other people who have worked with her coming out with similar bad experiences.

The issue became so huge that Alex Gonzaga's camp had to issue a statement on the video, claiming that the waiter was a friend of the family. The younger Gonzaga would eventually take to her Twitter account to claim that God taught her “a hard and important lesson” and then apologized to the waiter.

Along with the apology, photos of a handwritten note from the server also made the rounds online, claiming that everything was already resolved between the two of them.

The unusual letter did not escape the eye of netizens either, who pointed out that it looked like a “quit claim” letter that would absolve the younger Gonzaga of any accountability.

Dina Bonnevie and the younger Gonzaga also have a history together, having both starred in the 2011 television show P.S. I Love You. Dina had previously talked about working with a young actress whose tardiness and subpar work ethic led to her giving that actress “hell.” While Dina has never named the actress, people online worked out that it was the younger Gonzaga that she was talking about.
