Patricia Coma on her recent acting workshop: “Puso sa puso sa pag-arte. Grabeng respeto para sa pag-arte.”
Patricia Coma recently shared her unforgettable experience in an acting workshop.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the Apoy sa Dugo actress expressed her “pure admiration for the craft” during a workshop organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).
"What a blessing to know na ang dami pang pwedeng matutunan sa pag-arte," she began.
The Sparkle artist went on to thank her mentor, Oscar winner Melissa Leo. She wrote, “Thank you for touching our hearts and believing in what we have. Nakakagulat ka, may nakikita ka sa bawat isa sa amin na di pa namin nakikita.”
Patricia also shared how meaningful the five-day experience was, saying she will “remember and cherish” the moment when her mentor saw something beautiful in her.
"I hope fate lets us meet again," she added.
She continued, “Puso sa puso sa pag-arte. Grabeng respeto para sa pag-arte. Maraming tinuro si Miss Melissa, pero nilinaw niya na lahat ng kailangan natin ay nasa atin na rin.”
Patricia also thanked FDCP and director Joey Javier Reyes, calling it a “unique experience.”
“Thank you for continuing this movement of truth, heart, and soul in acting. Thank you for providing a space para pag-usapan ang sining ng pag-arte lalo na sa panahon ngayon,” she said.
She likewise expressed gratitude to Sparkle GMA Artist Center for the opportunity to be part of a “room full of heartful actors.”
"It was a different kind of joy getting to watch and interact with actors from other areas like StarWorx, Starmagic, and Aktor PH. Hindi ko alam ganun pala kasaya huhu!" she shared.
"Like what Direk Joey said, simula palang ito. And Miss Melissa says, we are all seeds growing. Sabi din ni @bonlentejass (yes may shoutout) galingan lang daw natin palagi," Patricia added.
"Napakasaya! Share ko lang guys. This was awesome," she concluded.
