Patrick Garcia and longtime friends Paolo Contis and Kaye Abad delighted their fans with a photo of them together on a riverside.
Celebrity dad and actor Patrick Gracia took to social media to share a candid photo together with his friends and former Tabing Ilog co-stars Paolo Contis and Kaye Abad.
Recently, the three announced that they would be having a reunion movie after two decades since their popular 1999 teen series ended.
On Instagram, Patrick shared a photo with Patrick and Kaye by the riverside taken during the fourth day of their taping for their still unnamed upcoming movie.
In the comments sections, their longtime fans and celebrity friends express their excitement for their nostalgic reunion, including Janus Del Prado, Jason Abalos, Chito Miranda, and Kapuso actor Kokoy De Santos.
“This is giving me Tabing Ilog and I'm living for it,” film director Theodore Boborol also commented.
Meanwhile, Paolo shared in an interview that he really felt different upon seeing his friends after a long time.
“Sobrang nakaka-miss nakita ko si Kaye kanina. Na-meet ko si Paul Jake [Castillo], ;yung husband niya, dumalaw kanina and her family. Sobrang iba,” he claimed.
Also in an interview, Kaye admitted her reason on why she accepted the role in the said movie, “Because of my co-actors na kasama ko. Alam kong hindi ako mahihirapan when it comes sa friendship na mga scenes, kasi magkakaibigan talaga kaming tatlo. So, mas madali na para sa akin."
Recently, Kaye also had a guest appearance in the GMA weekend sitcom Happy ToGetHer in which her ex-boyfriend and fellow former Tabing Ilog co-actor John Lloyd Cruz is the lead star.
