Princess Aliyah expressed excitement as she kicked off the musical chapter of her career.
Kapuso artist and PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 4th Big Placer Princess Aliyah shared her thrill and appreciation for the new doors opening in her music career, sparked by the launch of her debut single "Amba" under GMV Studios.
Bringing together two industry giants, GMV Studios is a joint venture co-owned by GMA Network and Viva Entertainment Inc.'s Viva Music Group, with Princess Aliyah being one of the newly introduced artists under its roster.
The partnership seeks to boost the growing OPM scene by producing new music and giving a platform to the next generation of Filipino artists.
Speaking with Unang Hirit's Unang Balita, Princess opened up about her long-awaited break in the music industry.
Expressing deep gratitude, the artist noted that after years of waiting, she finally has the platform to share her talent, calling this new chapter a significant blessing.
“I'm so excited po and so blessed din to be given this opportunity kasi actually ang tagal ko na rin po itong hiniling talaga,” Princess said.
She also shared that while her career originally began in singing, her musical journey was briefly put on hold when she shifted her time and focus to acting.
The Kapuso actress admitted she is absolutely thrilled that this long-awaited musical comeback is finally pushing through.
“Before, nag-start po talaga ako sa singing, na-stop siya kasi nag-focus ako sa acting,” she shared.
“Sobrang excited ko po for this,” she added.
Princess Aliyah's "Amba" expresses the frustration of a back-and-forth romance and the struggle of dealing with someone who gives mixed signals.
Sparkle GMA Artist Center recently confirmed on Instagram that Princess' new song will be featured in the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime drama You're My Favorite Song.
The young artist is also part of the show's cast, sharing the screen with several of her former PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0 housemates.
“Get ready to hit repeat on Amba which also happens to be a featured track for the upcoming series You Are My Favorite Song,” Sparkle wrote.

The show stars Heath Jornales, Clifford, Marco Masa, and Caprice Cayetano.
Also joining the cast are Waynona Collings, Lee Victor, Kairo Lazarte, Andrei Fajardo, Boboy Garrovillo, James Blanco, Katya Santos, and Wilma Doesnt.
It is under the direction of award-winning filmmaker and podcaster JP Habac, and written by Erwin Bravo.
