Miss Universe 2020 and Kapuso actress Rabiya Mateo shared that First Lady star Sanya Lopez has the potential to become a beauty queen.
In an interview with GMANetwork.com, the Ilongga beauty shared, “Sanya Lopez. I met her, she's very beautiful, and I heard she also has experience sa pageantry before she became an actress.
“Probably in the near future. She's still young [and] she can also be.. who knows, the next Miss Universe Philippines and represent our country.”
Rabiya is not the only one who said that Sanya has what it takes to become a beauty queen. In fact, Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina and Miss Eco International 2018 Cynthia Thomalla also lent their support for their First Lady co-star if she decided to join beauty pageants.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach also encouraged the Sparkle artist to join the world of pageantry in 2018.
“Inii-stalk din kita sa IG at super ganda mo, and whenever you're ready we're here waiting for you. Kung gusto mo mag-train, kung gusto mo sumali, alam mo na kung sinong lalapitan mo,” Pia said in an Instagram video.
She added, “We'd be happy, happy, happy, to help you.”
