Kapuso actor Derek Ramsay continues to address his bashers following his split with Andrea Torres on Instagram.

On the social media site, Derek posted a topless photo of himself with another guy and said in the caption, “Love and live life.”

Despite his efforts, a few netizens suggest that there is something more than meets the eye with the post.

A netizen wrote, “Hahaha! Parang may naamoy ako.”

To whom Derek clarified, “That's my nephew.”

Meanwhile, another basher wrote in the comments section, “Puro tikim sa babae, lalaki kasi ang gusto mo. Alam na this.”

However, the Kapuso actor replied with four clapping hands emoji.

The bankable actor and Kapuso hunk has been the topic of headlines recently after his split with his The Better Woman leading lady Andrea Torres.

Rumors of the two splitting up started in November after eagle-eyed fans saw that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram and had started deleting each other's photographs in their timelines.

On November 19, Derek confirmed that he and Andrea had decided to break up after more than a year of a whirlwind romance.

He said in a comment, “Please don't point the finger at anyone. There is nothing wrong with Andrea. She is a great woman. There is no third party!!!

“The break up has happened so fast. Maybe two people are just not meant to be. Please respect us na lang.

“We shared our love to all of you so sana naman we can keep this to ourselves. Mahal ko si Ada kaya 'di ako magsasalita. Pero, if I hear lies about her, I will defend her.”

After their split, Derek has been addressing comments about his break-up to the point that he was even linked to The Clash guest judge Pops Fernandez.

However, this rumor was also shut down by Derek.

Recently, Derek has been trolling gossipmongers on his Instagram Stories after a showbiz blog made an intriguing post about his photo with a female friend.

In one post he said, "So ang dami dami dami mga chismis tungkol sa akin. Ito dagdag n'yo pa."

As of this writing, the Kapuso hunk's Instagram account has been turned to private.

Derek first met Andrea during the filming of the GMA Primetime series The Better Woman, his first gig in the Kapuso network after his contract signing, in April 2019.

At the time, Derek was still in a relationship with Joanne Villablanca but parted ways in June.

By September, the two Kapuso actors confirmed that they had “feelings for each other” and even appeared to be serious with one another after they launched their joint YouTube channel in February this year.

In an interview with Pops Fernandez, Derek said Andrea would make a “beautiful wife.”

“Like, we get along in so many ways, we connect in so many ways and during the quarantine period, I've been thinking a lot about having kids and settling down,” he explained.

“I'm finishing my house, my dream house, where I plan to live for the next 20 years in Alabang.

“Everyone says, 'Derek, you're all by yourself, why would you build a house like this?' I was like, 'Because I plan to fill it up.'

“I plan to start my family, so fingers crossed that it will be very soon.”
