Kapuso Action-Drama Prince Ruru Madrid and seasoned star Rio Locsin became a talked-about topic online after their behind the scenes video for the primetime show, Black Rider, went viral on social media.

In the said video, Rio got carried away with her emotions after shooting a heavy scene with the Sparkle actor for the show.

In an interview with the veteran actress, she revealed why she wasn't able to let go of her emotions after taping the heavy scenes.

“Nakakabigla nga dahil parang hindi ko inaasahan ang mga lumalabas na balita. Tama po kayo, hindi ako nakabitaw agad sa napakataas na emosyon na kinakailangang ibigay sa eksena kasi apat na tuloy tuloy na eksena na maraming namatay at isa-isa naming nakikita," she said.

She continued, "Mataas na emosyon at mabigat."

According to Rio, Ruru didn't leave her after their heavy scenes and remained by her side until she calmed down. The renowned actress also revealed how the cast and the production team reacted after shooting the emotional scene.

“Ang lahat ay nag-aalala, since senior na ako at ramdam ko ang pag-aalaga nila sa akin. Pagkatapos n'un, balik na ulit sa normal, chikahan na uli,” she said.

Rio also said that medics are always present during their tapings to ensure the safety of everyone on set.

She explained, “May mga medic kami sa set, may ambulance din. Kaya hindi totoo na walang medic na tumutulong, nagkataon lang na hindi ko naman talaga kinailangan na magpa-medic nung oras na 'yon, but anytime, andyan lang sila. Hindi rin totoo na inatake ako ng hika, wala po akong hika.

“Sa abot nang aming makakaya, kung ano ang nararamdaman namin sa eksena, kami ni Ruru, parehong damdamin at puso ang ipinaaabot namin sa mga manonood, na nawa'y maipaabot namin 'yung emosyon na nararamdaman namin para sa mga eksena.”
