Sen. Kiko Pangilinan shares preventive measures he took during his quarantine period.

Opposition Senator Kiko Pangilinan said on Thursday (March 26) that his 14-day quarantine went fine as he has not shown any flu-like symptoms during the period.

The senator was put into self-quarantine because he had been exposed to a 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) positive person and he completed his quarantine three days ago.

He skipped the Senate's special session held last March 23 and stayed at home to avoid the possibility of infecting others.

“It has been 2 days since my 14 day self-quarantine was completed. Thankfully, I have not shown any flu-like symptoms. No fever. No cold,” he said.

Sen. Kiko also noted that his wife, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, and their kids have shown no symptoms of the virus, too.

On Friday, Sen. Kiko shared with the public the regimen he took during his quarantine period. He said, it that was prescribed by former Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Dr. Jimmy Galvez Tan.

“He informed me that the tips below are both curative and preventive. I was not able to follow all the tips but did most of them to stay healthy,” he noted.

Here are the preventive measures Sen. Kiko took to prevent himself from contracting the contagious coronavirus disease.
