
Senator-elect JV Ejercito was emotional as he bid goodbye to his godmother, Queen of Philippine Movies the late Susan Roces.
The multi-awarded actress was laid to rest beside the tomb of legendary action star Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ) yesterday, May 26 at the Manila North Cemetery.
In his Instagram post, JV uploaded a photo taken during his baptism.
He wrote in the caption, “This is during my baptism, with mom holding me and Ninang Susan Roces beside her looking at me.
“I will miss you Ninang Susan. Until the very last, you were concerned with my battle. You told Kapatid Sen. Grace that I was having a difficult time campaigning alone. Grace said you were praying for me and campaigning for me.”
He ended his post to express his love for his late Ninang Susan.
“Di man lang ako nakapagpasalamat ng personal. Love you Ninang Susan. Hug Tito Ron for me!”
JV Ejercito was born on December 26, 1969 in Manila. He is the son of former San Juan City mayor Guia Gomez and former president Joseph Ejercito Estrada.
He recently won a senate seat in the 2022 national and local elections by placing in the Top 12.
