Shaira Diaz received her first ever award since becoming an actress in 2012.
Kapuso actress Shaira Diaz could not help but become emotional as she received the first-ever award of her career.
Shaira was one of the personalities chosen as Makabata Stars at the Anak TV Seal Awards 2024.
"A pinch-me moment!!! ✨ My very first award since I started my career in 2012!!! Nakakaiyak… ang saya-saya ng puso ko ngayon. Hindi ko akalain na darating ang pagkakataon na ito. Wahhh 😭 Maraming, maraming salamat po sa @anaktvinc for this recognition--Female Makabata Star 2024 for Television at the Anak TV Seal Awards!! Salamat din po sa jury! This will serve as my inspiration to do better in my work and continue to be a role model for the youth," she wrote on Instagram.
She also thanked all those who supported her career.
"Maraming salamat din sa aking @gmanetwork, @sparklegmaartistcenter, @alvtalents, @gmaibilib, at @unanghirit family sa tiwala ninyo po sa akin. ❤️
"Thank you also to my supporters, my friends, and family--especially my mom and dad, and my love, @ea_guzman. Para sa inyo ito! ❤️

Shaira placed first among ten awardees who were chosen from a roster of 58 nominees.
"P.S. Naiyak talaga ako sa letter… Number 1 😭🙏🏻 Salamat po" Shaira ended her post.
Shaira personally attended the Anak TV Seal Awards to receive her trophy.
The Anak TV Seal Awards is held annually and aims to recognize television programs and personalities that are child-friendly and child-sensitive.
Aside from Shaira, Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza and GMA Prime wartime family drama Pulang Araw were also honored at the awards night.
Meanwhile, Shaira is to make a comeback on primetime in the upcoming action-adventure series Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan.
This is the second season of 2022's most-watched TV show Lolong where she will be reprising her role as Elsie, childhood friend and now the fiancée of the titular Lolong, played by Ruru Madrid.
