Shuvee Etrata gets the opportunity to work with a close person in her heart, tall, dark, and handsome (TDH) model-actor Anthony Constantino.

Shuvee and Anthony are part of the action-packed series The Master Cutter starring Mr. Dingdong Dantes, who plays Atoy, a highly skilled scout ranger, now leading a quiet life as a tailor while secretly working as a man-hunter/ tracker for hire.

Dubbed as the Nation's Darling, Shuvee portrays the character Tonet, one of the love interests of Atoy. Anthony was cast to play the role of Jason.

During her interview with GMANetwork.com, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate told Anthony even before he entered show business, he really can pursue a career as an actor.

“So far ang dami ko natutunan sa kaniya, before sa outside world nung nakilala ko siya before siya nag-showbiz, alam ko na kung talaga gaano kabait 'yung puso niya,” Shuvee said.

“So, nung alam ko talaga na [bagay sa kaniya, sinabi ko] mag-artista ka beh. Kasi bagay siya, sinasabi kong bagay siya mag-artista, kasi sobra niyang personable."

“He reacts in a way na alam mong pinapakinggan ka, alam mong mabait sa lahat ng tao nandoon 'yung pagiging grounded niya," she continued.

Sharing their work dynamics on the set of The Master Cutter, Shuvee admitted that she had some reservations about acting together in a soap. In a previous interview, the Kapuso Balikbayan heartthrob has admitted that he is courting the actress.

“So, nung nandito [na] sa teleserye, actually, natakot ako sobrang natakot ako na baka hindi kami mag-work well with each other. Especially as an actor myself meron akong sariling phase,” Shuvee explained.

Shuvee added that she is lucky that Anthony understands that her priority right now is her career.

“I have my own work to do, meron din sarili niya. And the beautiful thing about us is we strive to become better individuals before kami mag ano man. Focus ako sa career ko and he is VERY MUCH understanding of that,” she said.

Meanwhile, Anthony told GMANetwork.com in a sit-down interview that he was impressed seeing first-hand Shuvee act in a TV project.

He noted, “Shuvee is one of the leading roles in the series, so, most of the sequences that she had were very, very heavy. Very emotional, very intense so it brought really-really a lot out of here. But, very proud of Shuvee because she really tied her emotions, her past traumas into some of the sequences that they had here."

“It really just showed how professional she is,” he said.
