Fluffy pancakes? Count us in!
In a recent episode of Pinas Sarap, host and veteran journalist Kara David invited over TikTok sensation and content creator Euleen Castro to the food show. Euleen was tasked to try a famous fluffy pancake in Tondo, Manila.
Located on Ugbo street, Chan's Fluffy Pancake offers scrumptious and quality fluffy souffle pancakes at an affordable price. Customers can choose from the food stall's wide range of flavors such as original, cookies and cream, mango graham, strawberry, chocolate, and blueberry cheesecake.
Euleen met up with Paul Christian Policarpio, owner of Chan's Fluffy Pancake, to learn how to make their best-selling souffle pancakes. Dubbed as "Pambansang Yobab" she truly enjoyed her souffle experience.

Japanese Souffle Pancakes
Ingredients:
Egg whites, egg yolks, flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla extract, and milk
Procedure:
1. In a mixing bowl, add your egg yolks and vanilla extract.
2. Mix until thick.
3. Once thick, add your milk and mix again.
4. Add flour mixed with baking powder into the mixture.
5. In a separate mixing bowl, add your egg whites and sugar.
6. Mix using an electric mixer until it increases in volume.
7. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites into the batter mixture until well combined.
8. Using a scooper, scoop the batter and cook it on the grill pan.
9. Add water to the pan to steam the pancakes for an even cook.
10. Cook each side for 4 minutes.
