Kahapon, July 3, sumabak na si Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes sa kaniyang military training para sa Philippine adaptation ng Korean hit drama series na Descendants of the Sun.

Kasama niya sa training ang ilang cast ng awaited series at miyembro ng ARESCOM (Army Reserve Command) sa pamumuno ni Major General Bernie Langub ng AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) sa Tanza, Cavite.

Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and the cast of the Philippine Adaptation of “Descendants of Sun” joins the officers and enlisted personnels of ARESCOM Tanza, Cavite to a “welcoming” tradition boodle fight for lunch. The DOTS cast are in Tanza for their military orientation and training.

Pero alam niyo bang hindi ito ang unang army training ng Kapuso actor?

Sa interview ni Chika Minute news anchor Nelson Canlas, ikinuwento ni Dingdong na sumailamim na siya dati sa mas matinding Marine Officer's Basic Training sa Ternate, Cavite noong 2006.

Aniya, “Nakakatuwa kasi siyempre this time kasama ko 'yung mga co-actors ko.

“And I'm very excited, lalo na sa mga first timers, kung ano 'yung magiging experience nila dito.”

Gaganap si Dingdong Dantes bilang si Big Boss sa Pinoy adaptation ng Descendants of the Sun. Makakasama niya sina Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Rocco Nacino, Jon Lucas, Paul Salas, Lucho Ayala, at Prince Clemente.

Wala pang kumpirmadong aktres na gaganap bilang leading lady ni Dingdong sa series.
