Personal na ibinigay ni Dra. Vicki Belo ang kanyang donasyon sa Philippine Red Cross para makatulong sa mga biktima ng pagsabog ng Bulkang Taal kahapon, January 15.

Sa kanyang Instagram, makikitang pumunta ang celebrity doctor kasama ang kanyang anak na si Scarlet Snow sa Philippine Red Cross (PRC) upang makausap ang Chairman at CEO nito na si Senator Dick Gordon.

Ani Vicki, gusto niyang ibigay ang monetary donation sa PRC dahil alam niyang makakatulong ito upang magbigay tulong sa mga nangangailangan.

“We, Filipino people, have to thank you [Dick].

“The reason why I'm comfortable about giving money to the Red Cross is because you're always willing to help a friend and I know that the money will go where it is supposed to go.

"I know how hard you guys work-- it's one disaster after another--but every time I come here, I feel the love and concern of your team for the country and for the Filipino people.

“You're doing such a great job and I hope other people can contribute. This is the best place to give your money because they already have the infrastructure and they've been through so many disasters and it's very organized.”

and women who tirelessly devote their time and effort to help the victims of the Taal eruption. All the monetary donation from generous hearts wouldn't matter if it weren't for you guys. Thank you for being selfless, for putting other people's interests before your own. You make me proud to be Filipino. Let's continue praying for the safety of our kababayans affected by the eruption and let's try to help in our own ways. Our efforts, no matter how big or small will definitely go a long way. Pinasalamatan naman ni Sen. Gordon si Vicki Belo pati na ang milyun-milyong nag-donate sa Philippine Red Cross.

Sambit ng senador, “By the way, it's not me [who's doing the work] but the long list of donors, and there are millions of them, but they're really ordinary people who do extraordinary things that's why we succeed.”
