Sa isang exclusive interview with Gil Cuerva, naikuwento ng aktor na mas naging komportable na siya with his My Love From The Star leading lady na si Jennylyn Mercado.
Aniya, “In terms of Jen, mas nakilala ko siya. So, mas comfortable ako. Kasi sa start, mas conscious ako. Ayaw ko na magmukha akong bastos. So, I was very respectful, and at the same time mas cautious ako. Pero ngayon mas comfortable ako. Kahit ano pa ipagawa sa aming eksena, okay sa kanya, and okay lang sa akin. At least very comfortable na with each other.”
Nagbigay din si Gil ng insights ngayong nakakailangan taping na sila para sa show. Ika niya, “In terms of taping, dati kasi I used to think about the pressure. Syempre, hindi maiwasan ‘yung pressure. So, I used to get very frustrated with myself 'pag nagkakamali ako. Pero now, I’ve learned to have fun, to enjoy, to understand na magkakamali talaga ako kasi bago pa ako. More importantly, to learn and to improve my craft which is becoming a better actor.”
