New segments turn up the fun in Party Pilipinas

A bigger and better Party Pilipinas was launched last January 27 with the introduction of hot, new segments that showcased the talents and different sides of the show’s most promising and most prized artists. The addition of U-Trend, Sing it, Shake it and LIVE NOW  made the weekly party even more exciting.

 

Catering to the trendy youth of today, U-Trend allows viewers to get in on the latest when it comes to fashion, gadgets and video games. Presented by a hip teen video jock, becoming updated with what’s hot and what’s not has never been this awesome.

 

Fresh-faced actress Janine Gutierrez, who was last weekend’s teen video jock, could not contain her joy over being chosen to be part of the show’s newest segment. “Super excited ako na may mga bagong segments sa Party Pilipinas at excited ako na panoorin ‘yun at lalong lalo nang maging part ‘nun. I’m really honored.”   

 

Breaking the intense concert show mold is the Sing it, Shake it segment, which incorporates singing and a charade game with the participation of different Kapuso stars. Filled with laughs and goofy moments, it brings out the funny side in every Kapuso.

 

Kapuso sweetheart Louise delos Reyes, who took part in the Sing it, Shake it segment was also thrilled about the fun, new additions which allow Party Pilipinas to take entertainment to a whole new level. She cheerfully shares, “Nakakataba ng puso na maging parte ng mas pinasayang Party Pilipinas at siguradong mas matutuwa kayong panoorin ito. Ang masasabi ko dito ay one word: Bongga!”

 

Rounding up the new segments introduced last week is LIVE NOW, a 10-mintute concert segment. The first of these featured the one and only Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez. The seasoned diva jammed with April Boy Regino and Alon and gave a different spin to the said singers’ most popular hits.

 

One of the network’s hottest leading ladies, Carla Abellana, expressed her admiration for the originality and talent being showcased. “We constantly find ways to improve the show through our performances and production numbers so I wouldn’t say na ngayon lang lumelevel up ang Party Pilipinas. It’s always a good feeling to be part of such a wonderful show and in the midst of such great talents,” she shares.
