New GMA Prime series Asawa Ng Asawa Ko is not the usual third-party story because according to its lead stars Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Rayver Cruz, they hope that the show will teach viewers the complexities of life and the power of love.

In the series, Jasmine portrays Cristy, the original wife of Jordan, played by Rayver. After Cristy was kidnapped and presumed dead, Jordan then marries Shaira, portrayed by Liezel Lopez. But Cristy comes back after being held captive by the rebel group KALASAG, Jordan now has two wives. Cristy will do everything to get her family back.

"Ako po, personally, ang pinaka-takeaway ko dito is napaka-complex ng buhay kahit tama sa tingin mo 'yung gagawin mo, minsan baka may mas mabuti pang paraan, or mas maayos, or may ibang paraan," Jasmine answered.

"Hindi lahat napaguusapan, tulad ng mangyayari kina Shaira at Cristy, pero kung merong respeto at pagmamahal para sa mga tao sa buhay mo, 'yung pasensya mo ang iiral para maibigay 'yung respeto at pagmamahal nang paulit-ulit para makarating kayo doon sa solusyon na gusto ninyong lahat, or makakatulong sa lahat."

For Rayver, Asawa Ng Asawa Ko will teach the viewers the power of love. "Ako siguro for me, 'yung love talaga, 'yung pagmamahal, napakamakapangyarihan ng pagmamahal, 'yung ang kailangan natin," he said.

"Lahat ng characters dito, 'yung mga ginagawa nila ay dahil sa pagmamahal. So, I love you guys."

Joining Jasmine, Rayver, and Liezel in Asawa Ng Asawa Ko are Martin Del Rosario, and Joem Bascon. Also starring in the series are Kim De Leon, Luis Hontiveros, Patricia Coma, Bruce Roeland, Crystal Paras, Jeniffer Maravilla, and Ms. Gina Alajar with Billie Hakenson, Quinn Carillo, and Mariz Ricketts.
