'Black Rider' actress Angeli Khang opens up about the reasons why she's been single for the past four years, and the qualities she's looking for in a man.
Filipina-Korean actress Angeli Khang, or Agnes Khang in real life, is first to admit that she's different from her sexy persona onscreen.
“Si Agnes po, ay sa totoo lang mahiyain, palangiti, palatawa, saka introvert po. Sobrang magkaiba talaga sila ni Angeli. Pagdating kay Angeli, confident, powerful, women empowerment and everything. Pagka off cam, biglang switch off, biglang 'Wait lang po, nahihiya ako!'” she said in the Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast.
The Black Rider actress added, “Kaya minsan kapag nakikita ako ng mga tao na si Angeli at Agnes at the same time, akala nila mataray ako kasi si Agnes, talagang mahiyain, hindi nagsasalita. Isang tanong, isang sagot. Pero ang nakikita nila sa aura ko raw na very pure.”
“Pero kapag unang kita nila sa akin as Agnes, akala nila mataray ako kasi ang Agnes, hindi nagsasalita. Pero ang Angeli, talagang all-out. Kahit anong ibigay mo na topic, tuloy-tuloy lang, sobrang jolly," she said.
"Pagka-switch off, 'pag Agnes, tahimik, mahinhin, minsan nahahalata ko po ang sarili ko na laging nakayuko. Wait lang, baka iniisip ng mga tao mataray ako. Kasi 'yung ibang naririnig ko 'Ay bakit ang taray niya?' Tapos ako, Wait lang hindi ako mataray! Nahihiya lang po,” Angeli said.
Actress Angeli Khang may have been single for a while, but she doesn't deny that there have been suitors expressing their interest in her.
"Hindi naman po sa pag-aano... Marami pong manliligaw.
“Pero as of now, kung sino man ang nandiyan... Ang sabi nga nila, hindi mo alam ang buhay kaya kung sino man ang nagmamahal sayo, ibigay mo rin kung ano ang pagmamahal na ibinibigay sa 'yo," she added.
"Pero number one, God, family, myself, career, and the people that surround me," she continued.
She also admitted she has been single for the past four years.
“Jowa, wala pa. Soon! Asan ka na jowa?! Four years na akong single," Angeli said.

Timing may have been a big factor as to why she's single.
"'O tara meet tayo ng araw na ito.' Pero noong araw pala na ito, biglang meron akong shooting. 'Meet mo 'yung family ko sa date na ito,' 'yung date pala niyan meron akong event, mga interviews. Kaya timing po talaga.”
She also gave clues on who her showbiz suitor is.
"Meron po, meron po," natatawa niyang sabi. "ABS-(CBN)."
When it comes to GMA Artists, Angeli denies anyone courting her at the moment but she's open to it.
"Sana. Soon," she says.
Angeli has a simple requirement when it comes to her ideal type, “I need patient na guy. Asan ka na?!" she quips.
