Chariz Solomon on her tandem with Valeen Montenegro: 'We build each other up'
Kapuso comediennes Chariz Solomon and Valeen Montenegro revealed during their interview in the GMA Integrated News showbiz podcast, Updated with Nelson Canlas, the secret to the success of their tandem on Bubble Gang.
The two Kapuso actresses are the main hosts of the popular comedy sketch “Balitang Ina,” which proved to be a huge hit online.
Valeen praised her best friend Chariz for sharing her knowledge to her. She told Nelson, “Pero ang galing kasi talaga ni Cha and yung lahat ng timing niya and hindi siya swapang sa pag-share ng kanyang knowledge and comedy. And mapagbigay talaga siya.”
Chariz then added that the two of them bring the best from each other. The StarStruck alumna explained, “Kasi we're good partners. You know, ano kasi, parang maganda kasi talaga yung rapport namin ni Val. Kaya parang we build each other up.
“Kaya kahit sino ay-- beteranang host, sinabi na you look good together, parang you sound good together, parang ganun.”
She added, “Parang we work good-- na-build na talaga kaming foundation, 'yung friendship at saka yung work ethics din kasi. Alam na talaga namin yung isa't-isa. Kumbaga kahit hindi mo kami bigyan ng script, mero'n kaming magagawa. Hindi ko sinasabing maganda, pero may magagawa kami.
“Kaya ganun yung sinasabi ni Val na ako yun, hindi. Kasi siya din, nag-aambag sa akin nang malaking factor din. Kasi I believe hindi ka rin makakapagbigay kung hindi nare-receive nang maganda, and vice versa.”
