Bida Kids of GMA's newest kiddie singing competition Centerstage have given the public a soul-uplifting online performance amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) threat in the country.

Spearheaded by Centerstage host and Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards, the contestants of the show provided a heart-warming rendition of Smokey Mountain's “A Better World” from their homes.

To remind the public to stay positive in these trying times, the show encouraged the viewers to “pray and work for #ABetterWorld for our sake, and for our children's sake.”

Alden also gave a piece of advice to netizens, “Ngayon pong pare-pareho tayong Team Bahay, minsan hindi po natin maiwasan mag-isip kung bakit tayo binigyan ng ganitong pagsubok,” Alden related to the public.

“Mahirap po siya, pare-pareho po tayong takot kasi hindi po natin alam kung ano pa po 'yung mga puwedeng mangyari.

“Pero kung titingnan mo ngayon, bumubuhos din po 'yung pagkakaisa, pagtutulungan, at malasakit natin sa isa't isa,” he added.

Meanwhile, in a bid to contain the spread of the disease, the government has put in place an enhanced community quarantine, which regulates strict imposition of measures in Luzon.

This includes the suspension of all mass transportation, strict compliance of home quarantine, closure of establishments, suspension of work, and 8:00 pm to 5:00 am curfew until April 12.
