Centerstage judge Pops Fernandez said that Oxy Dolorito sang effortlessly, “So much emotion pero ang pagka-deliver niya is still so sweet."

The young ukulele player from Obando, Bulacan Oxy Dolorito won against last week's Defending Bida Wendy Figura and was hailed as Centerstage's new defending winner.

He bested fellow young aspiring singer Obeng Jaramilla, an impressive young cook from Meycauayan, Bulacan; Hanna Huwit, a cartoon video editor from Cavite; and Nikki Samora, a digital artist from Dasmariñas, Cavite.

In the final round between Oxy and Wendy, the former captured the hearts of Centerstage judges Kapuso vocal powerhouse Aicelle Santos; renowned composer and musical director Mel Villena; and seasoned singer and Concert Queen Pops Fernandez with his effortless and charismatic performance.

Judge Pops even commented that Oxy “delivers a song with walang effort pero parang ang lalim lalim ng hugot niya.

“So much emotion pero ang pagka-deliver niya is still so sweet. It's almost like listening to a lullaby pero ang lalim ng hugot,” she added.

Now that there is only one spot at Centerstage's grand finals, judges are more critical in choosing the contestant that would best fit their criteria.

“Isa na lang po ang hinahanap natin for the finalist. Mas critical for us so parang we're discussing the points at kung ano talaga 'yung dapat hanapin namin.

“Kailangan po 'yung mga performers natin talagang top-notch and really really giving it their best kasi as we look back napakagaling po ng magiging kalaban nila,” the Concert Queen shared.

Judge Mel then said that they are looking for someone who will stand a chance against the three equally amazing grand finalists Rain Barquin, Colline Salazar, and Vianna Ricafranca.

“It's very crucial kasi tatlong makakasagupa nitong pang-apat na naghihintay at napakagagaling. Kailangan tayong makakita ng extraordinary or ka-match,” he related.

Judge Aicelle then added, “Whenever we pick someone to win, lagi namin ilalagay 'yung picture nung tatlo tapos 'pag ba nilaban namin itong isang ito will he/she stand a chance o mas gaganda ba 'yung laban? We want a grand grand finals para sa Centerstage."
