'Daddy's Gurl' airs finale episode on May 6 with replays on May 13 and 20
After delivering quality laughs and good vibes for more than four years, the hit comedy show starring Bossing Vic Sotto and Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza will bid goodbye this coming Saturday, May 6.
The sitcom, which started airing on October 13, 2018, took us on a special journey as we follow the life of Barak (Vic Sotto), a conservative Batangueño dad and his only daughter Stacy/Visitacion (Maine Mendoza), a trendsetter slash influencer slash digital maven.
In the past four years, we have featured some of the biggest and brightest stars in show business and witnessed their comical side including the late showbiz gem Cherie Gil, Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards, and internationally-acclaimed actress Jaclyn Jose as our special guests.
What's more, the show also earned several recognitions. Back in 2019, Vic and Maine were awarded the title Pinaka-magiting na Personalidad ng Comedy Show in the 7th Kagitingan Awards for Television of the Bataan Peninsula State University.
Both Vic and Maine were also recognized in the Star Awards for Television. In 2019, the Dubsmash Queen of the Philippines bagged the Best Comedy Actress trophy and in 2021, while the seasoned comedian and host won the Best Comedy Actor trophy.
As the show wrapped up its stellar run, Daddy's Gurl will air a memorable and laugh-out-loud finale this Saturday night.
