Andrea Torres on working with John Lloyd Cruz: “It makes so much sense kung bakit nabibigyan niya tayo ng nakakabilib na performace all the time.”
The excitement is palpable among Kapuso viewers after the high-rating sitcom Happy ToGetHer revealed on Sunday, April 10, that drama actress Andrea Torres will be appearing as a guest soon.
Fans were thrilled to see some of the scenes of Andrea and multi-awarded TV idol John Lloyd Cruz, who plays Julian, in the latter part of the episode.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the stunning Sparkle star shared what she discovered shooting with John Lloyd in Happy ToGetHer.
Andrea told GMANetwork.com, “Nakita ko 'yung side niya na creative consultant ng show. Na-amaze ako marinig 'yung thoughts and ideas niya sa eksena at kung paano niya 'yun inaaral.”
She added, “It makes so much sense kung bakit nabibigyan niya tayo ng nakakabilib na performace all the time.”
This is not the first-time that Andrea Torres worked on a comedy project. She is a former Kababol and had the opportunity to act alongside comedy superstar Michael V. on Bubble Gang.
According to the Kapuso actress, the whole cast made her feel comfortable, which made the whole shooting experience a smooth one.
She recalled, “Sobra akong nag-enjoy sa grupo. Three days lang kami nagkasama pero parang mas matagal pa sa pakikihalubilo namin sa isa't isa.
“I'm so comfortable with them and I'm glad that they're also so welcoming. Nag-jive talaga lahat.”
Andrea continued, “Natuwa akong madiscover na kalog din pala si JLC. Palabiro siya and siyempre it helped a lot pagdating sa mga eksena kasi wala kayong ilangan.”
When it comes to a memorable scene she had with John Lloyd, Andrea had an immediate reply saying, “There's one na tawang tawa kaming dalawa 'di na talaga namin mapigilan. Naiyak na siya sa kakatawa.
“Memorable moment naman, of course, 'yung mga bonding namin off-cam, mga kantahan, kwentuhan, at kulitan.”
