Jasmine Curtis-Smith shares expectations for 'Love On The Balcony'

Kapuso leading lady Jasmine Curtis-Smith bared her expectations for her newest week-long series “Love On The Balcony,” which is set to air on Monday, September 28.

“Love On The Balcony,” which also stars Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards, Pancho Magno, Denise Barbacena and Shyr Valdez, is the first of four installments of the drama anthology I Can See You.

During the Kapuso Brigade Zoomustahan held on September 24, the actress told GMANetwork.com that she is definitely feeling the pressure as their story will kickstart I Can See You.

The show is the newest offering of GMA Telebabad after months of pause due to the pandemic.

“Konting pressure dahil mauuna 'yung story namin.

"But ako kasi I don't look at it as a pressure kung marami bang magiging viewers. It's more of a pressure that I do hope that the people who watch it really enjoy it,” she said.

The actress then clarified that the new kind of pressure that she's been feeling over the past few weeks has nothing to do with the public's expectations about the whole show.

“I feel pressure but at the same time I don't feel any pressure right now. I don't think of any expectations. I don't think about kung ano ang sasabihin ng iba.

“What I look forward to is people just giving in their honest reviews and comments about it.

“Kasi for me, every comment is appreciated, kahit pa na it's a critique. It's always good to channel it into a nice conversation or idea also for a future project if ever,” she added.

Meanwhile, Kapuso hunk Pancho Magno, who also plays a vital role in the series, said that I Can See You targets various audience markets.

“Sobrang cool nito. Iba't iba 'yung target, ibang genre. So, 'yun 'yung pinaka-expectations namin na…kami 'yung nag-kickstart and I hope parang sunud-sunod na mag-build up.

“Sa amin medyo comedy drama and next pa-intense nang pa-intense,” he said.

I Can See You is composed of four compelling and thrilling stories every week: “Love On The Balcony,” “High Rise Lovers,” “The Promise,” and “Truly. Madly. Deadly.”
