I Left My Heart in Sorsogon is among Heart's dream projects since it will be showcasing the beauty of Sorsogon, the home of her husband Chiz Escudero who also serves as the governor in the province.

Recall that the fashion icon has spent some time in Sorsogon in the community quarantine period, where she was able to discover “treasures” through her journey around there. In line with her advocacy to also highlight the talent of Sorsoganon artisans, Heart added locally-produced items to her home décor line Maison Love Marie.

“I felt na it would be unique if I was able to really showcase Sorsogon through a soap. E, alam ko that they asked me if I wanted to do a soap so sinabi ko, 'Pwede po ba mag-soap kung Sorsogon,” she said, adding that she conceptualized the story of the show. “I was able to come up with a story, 'yung concept.”

This is Heart and Richard's first project together, and she's looking forward to working with him.

“I'm excited kasi we have common friends. I heard na mabait siya, easy to work with, and I'm also very easy so masaya,”

Currently, the cast of the show is preparing for their nearing month-long lock-in taping.
